At Anchor

Friday, November 4, 2011

Well we are here in Bonaire. this is the first thing you see coming around the point. It's the sait mine on the southern shore. We left P.R. Sunday at 8AM and was anchored here at 8 AM Wed. So far we have not explored anywhere except to find phone and internet service.
I do wake up every morning and drink coffee with this fisherman. I don't see him catch anything but bait, at least that is the size of bait I use.
This is clearest water we have been in since we left Texas and really like to see the fish under the boat.
OK this is just an update and

  1. Just caught up on some of your posts. Great to see you guys back in action. All in all, from a mainland 48 view it was a pretty mild hurricane season? Or am I all wet on dry land? Sounds like you're pretty happy about the generator. I know you'll like the AC on those really hot days, don't get too spoiled. Cap'n Jack would sure like to see you guys and share a couple of cigars with you. The one's I smoke are awful but they will do for daily smokes.

Well, be safe and have a ball, talk to you later, Tapper 'Cap'n Jack'.
